Making an impact on others by spreading a light and offering a place of rest from a hard day begins at 3 p.m. The P7 Bible Study club meets weekly and offers fellowship and faith.

“It helps people to make friends,” Monica Rivarola, sophomore and a P7 leader, said. “It also helps by allowing kids who haven’t experienced a relationship with God to find their own.”

Coming together to gain knowledge of the savior can lessen the complications of daily life because people see that there are others just like them and that they are not alone.

“This is good for children to talk about what they believe,” Christine Wehrli, social studies teacher and original group sponsor, said.

Allowing the kids to come and speak about what they believe in can be a relief because nowadays many kids get shot down for professing any sort of faith.

“As a teacher I cannot profess my faith, but I will support anyone who feels called,” Jeanne Drapeau, history teacher and club sponsor, said.

Students in the club are encouraged to talk and share their ideas.

“I like that the kids are allowed to talk and it is an opportunity to invite friends,” Kayla Callaway, freshman, said.
