Benson Boone released his latest single on January 18. The song “Beautiful Things” captures the range of emotions one feels when in love from the joy of finding the one to the anxiety of fearing you’ll lose them.

Benson Boone is an up-and-coming singer from Monroe, Washington who, by the age of 21, already has a wide-range audience. Benson currently has 20+ million monthly listeners on streaming platforms and his music is widely shared on TikTok.

On January 18, Benson released a new single titled “Beautiful Things.” This song encompasses a story detailing love and anxiety, and how these two emotions take a toll on one’s life. Benson explains in “Beautiful Things” that he “found a girl” that his parents love, and he thinks he “might have it all” but he is “up at night thinking” that he “just might lost it all.” These lyrics contrast one another, expressing a person’s deepest fear while being in love, which is losing said love. Benson captures these two emotions perfectly, and uses them to guide listeners through his story of being torn between being content, and thinking this serenity won’t last, which is a feeling that many listeners can likely relate to. Benson takes on his own fears and anxieties, and uses them to create a beautiful song with lyrics that go deeper than surface level.

It’s safe to say that Benson is pretty successful, as his career is relatively new and his impact is already recognized on platforms everywhere. His song “Beautiful Things” will only take him further into his career, marking his place as a talented artist in the music industry.
