Not so innocent dog movie entertains mature audience

Will Ferrell and Jamie Foxx give voice to dogs as they seek revenge on a neglectful owner.

“Strays”, a perfect and hilarious movie to watch with your friends on a Saturday night. Released August 18 and directed by Josh Greenbaum, “Strays” has already been rated 71% on the Rotten Tomatoes website.

The film begins by showing the relationship Reggie (a dog) has with his owner, Doug. Until Doug, being the horrible person he is, dumps him off to live on the streets. As a new stray-dog, Reggie meets with a pack of other dogs with owners they don’t like. Together, they go on an adventure based on revenge yet their journey isn’t as easy as it seems.

It’s worthy to mention that the film is rated R because of its foul language, drug use, and violence. So while “Strays” can make you laugh out loud, it isn’t geared for younger children.

If you love dogs and comedy films, this is a great new movie to watch. Right now it seems to only be playing in theaters but I’m sure “Strays” will be able to stream soon.
