Disdain for new bell system rings loud and clear

As pretty much everyone knows, we have a new bell system at Arlington High. The majority of friends and teachers I’ve talked to it about have stated that they hate it. In my opinion, this new bell system was one of the dumber ideas this school has had, and they should change back to their old bell system as soon as possible.

Getting to class on time should be the main priority of any high school student with the learning process starting as soon as that bell has rung. These new bells have such a small and pathetic sound compared to the old bell system’s loud ring that echoed through the hallways, hurrying everyone to class. This is the main problem with the bell system, but how many times have the students at this school heard the joke, “Welcome to the Arlington High Airlines Center” or “Thank you for riding with AHS Air”? This is a high school, not an airline, and the jokes are getting a little old.

Seriously. Who thought this was a good idea?

Though brief, this piece hopefully reflects the thoughts of lots of students about this new bell system. Please change it back.
