Thomas Cleveland, junior, is very active at school. He is involved in PALs, band and he’s on the baseball team. The Colt sat down with him to find out how he manages the fun and the school work.
The Colt: How’s the school year been for you so far?
Thomas Cleveland : Good, I’m passing all my classes.
TC: What’s been your favorite part about the year so far?
T. Cleveland: Marching band because I love the energy the band has at the games.
TC: What’s your favorite thing about being in band?
T. Cleveland: Marching.
TC: Was this year’s marching show hard for you?
T. Cleveland: No not really, this year’s show was just more technical.
TC: Why do you play baseball?
T. Cleveland: Because its fun and I want to play in the future.
TC: What got you into baseball?
T. Cleveland: My dad got me into it at a young age.
TC: What team do you think you’ll make this year? Why?
T. Cleveland: JV, because they already have pitchers for varsity.
TC: What do you enjoy most about PALs?
T. Cleveland: Getting to help the little kids, its really fun to get to know them.
TC: Is it hard to be so involved in other activities and keep up with school work?
T. Cleveland: No, I try to finish most of my work in class.
TC: What organization have you been in the longest? Which do you enjoy most?
T. Cleveland: I enjoy band most, but I’ve been in baseball the longest.
TC: Which organization do you think you put the most effort into?
T. Cleveland: Baseball because the work pays off.
