  1. Sicko Mode x Drake featuring Travis Scott & Swae Lee
Things Drake did: his thing! Definitely the song of the year!
  2. Thank You Next x Ariana Grande
Ariana Grande had what was probably one of the worst 2018 experiences, however, talk about a comeback. She ended the year with a broken off engagement, the loss of a loved one, and a #1 song.
  3. In My Feelings x Drake
Drake made “Summer 2k18” one of the best, especially for girls named Keke.
  4. Boo’d Up x Ella Mae
Ella Mae came out with the best summer jam. Catchy beat, fun vibes all around.
  5. Lucid Dreams x JUICEWORLD
This song made it so big that a 2nd grader from Hill Elementary sang it to me to express his love for music! Juice World broke the internet.
  6. God’s Plan x Drake
God’s Plan started a social media timeline full of fake ballers attempting to live up to the #GodsPlanChallenge. For example, walking into a Kroger and seeing a man say he will pay for everyone’s groceries, that was the summer of 2018.
  7. Finesse (Remix) x Cardi B featuring Bruno Mars
The video is what put this on the Top 10 list, such a ’90s vibe and a cool concept overall.
  8. Medicine x Queen Naija
Queen Naija went from a famous Youtuber to an award winning singer with this song and we can give all thanks to her ex boyfriend, Chris Sails.
  9. Freaky Friday x Lil Dicky featuring Chris Brown
This is another song that made the list due to the music video. The Freaky Friday video was exactly like the movie but featured the body swap between Chris Brown and a scrawny white boy. COOL!
  10. Better Now x Post Malone
This song made the list simply because they played it at every pep rally throughout football season, which was a #1 highlight of my 2018. I can just see Coach Peach jumping up and down to the song.
